This happened in several salons. They desperately wanted to chop off all of my length. I would ask for a trim and a full six inches or in some cases more came off. I was totally traumatized in at least two of the cases, to the point I left the salon and cried and cried. (I am just telling the truth here. I am not a vain woman, but what that woman did to me was like an amputation. A woman with several years growth of hair does not look at hair like you do. That hair is a part of her, and this has nothing to do with being vain. (In fact, when the hair is that long you have to put it, in a bun, all the time.)
I am 100% clear this was deliberate. I believe the one woman who did the biggest butchering job on my hair was a witch.
