++Easter/Ishtar: Paganism Repackaged By Dr. Scott Johnson | April 8, 2007–In this teaching we will be focusing on the history of Easter, exploring its disturbing undeniable Pagan roots. To be objective I have endeavored to garner input from not only Christian sources but also Catholic and Pagan sources as well; and as you will see all three sides are in agreement as to Easter’s Pagan origin and history. We will explore exactly when the holiday of Easter was incorporated into the Roman Catholic Church at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD; whereby this practice then started to permeate and leaven many other branches of Christianity. Of further note we will prove how the date of Easter is always determined by (the Biblically forbidden practice of) Astrology and how its date changes every year as a result. If this were the true date of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, HOW COULD IT CHANGE? We will also be looking at Easters close ties to Pagan goddess known as Ishtar and the specific associations and practices of Easter like: The Easter Bunny, Colored Eggs, Lent, Ash Wednesday, Hot Cross Buns, Spring Break, The Easter Ham, Wicker Easter Baskets, Easter Sunrise Service, Mardi Gras, etc. . . .Lastly we will explore why only the King James Version translates the Greek word “pascha” to “Easter” (instead of “Passover”) in Acts 12:4; and how this is one more proof of the superiority of the Authorized King James Version.
The pagan goddess Ishtar was worshiped via offerings of produce and money as well as though fornication with temple prostitutes. It is this last characteristic that helps make the tie between religious Babylon and kings and merchants. In his book The Secret of Crete, H.G. Wunderlich reports that before marriage, every woman in Babylon was required to go to the temple of Ishtar and lie with a stranger. We have a similar report from Gerhard Herm in his book, The Phoenicians, where women in the Canaanite cities of Tyre, Sidon and Byblos were required to become prostitutes for a day and give themselves to foreign guests during the spring festival. This festival survives today in the name of “Easter”, which is derived from the word “Ishtar”. Now OSTARA is one of the Lesser Wiccan Sabbats, and is usually celebrated on the Vernal or Spring Equinox right around March 21. Easter is determined as the first Sunday after the first Full Moon after the Vernal Equinox—If it were the resurrection of Jesus Christ this date would never change (like a birthday), but the date of Easter can vary by up to month every year!!!

++The bill (H.J. Res. 44) to REPEAL Biden’s unconstitutional pistol brace rule is in peril. Republicans POSTPONED today’s House Judiciary Committee vote on H.J. Res 44 after Democrats plotted to hijack the process to politicize the recent tragic shooting in Nashville. We cannot allow the anti-gun lobby to pressure Republicans into delaying the vote on this critical bill even further – or even worse, canceling it altogether! Instead, we should capitalize on this delay by urging Congress to actually DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM by passing additional legislation REPEALING gun free zones and arming teachers. This is by far the most effective way to deter would-be mass shooters. No mass shooting has EVER occurred during school hours where armed teachers are present! Last year, Rep. Thomas Massie introduced H.R. 7415, which would have allowed willing teachers to carry firearms in schools. Because Rep. Massie sits on the House Judiciary Committee, he can easily take language from that bill and offer it as an amendment to any must-pass bill. We need YOU to contact your Representative in the House right away. Depending on what party your Representative is, you’ll send them a different message: If they’re a Republican, you’ll urge them to hold a vote on H.J. Hi Scott, So both my renters and my car insurance went up! My car insurance went up by over 100 dollars for the next six month. I spoke to the insurance department of USAA on the phone just now to figure out what is going on. She was telling me she would love to trade insurance with me. I am paying over 800 per six months for full coverage, and total replacement for the new vehicle. She lives in Florida right now. She says 1 driver in 4 is not insured in Florida, causing USAA to drive the cost of insuring your vehicle up way up in Florida. BTW it has been more than a decade or so, almost two, that USAA stopped insuring a lot of those homes in Florida. They just sent letters to homeowners telling them they could no longer insure their homes.
So more evidence of the awful things going on in Florida. BTW, I use USAA for my insurance needs because if and when something happens, THEY PAY UP. They do this instantly with no fuss. (Multiple testimonies from people I personally know and I put one claim against them myself.) That is going to change, but I have been with USAA for all my banking needs for many, many years and they treat me very, very well.
